ABOUT CHS

Having their roots in the Central Hindu College established by Dr. Annie Besant in 1898, the Central
Hindu Boys’ School and Central Hindu Girls’ School are housed in monumental buildings situated at Kamachha in the heart of Varanasi city. Affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, these schools have a glorious history of providing excellent education in Arts, Commerce, Home Science, Science and Agriculture streams along with ample sports and extra-co-curricular activities to ensure all round personality development of both boys & girls. Both schools have well equipped laboratories for providing skill based training in almost all practical subjects. In addition, the schools provide NCC training to boys in the Army and Air Wings and NCC training to girls in the Army Wings. Being a part of Banaras Hindu University, the students of the schools enjoy many facilities that are available to the university students in general. Both schools have also the facilities of Computer Education.

Note: 
1.   One language (English/Hindi) is compulsory. A candidate may however offer for two languages simultaneously.
2.   The language may be offered at core/elective level. The same language however cannot be offered both at core and elective level.
3.   Choice of subject combinations shall be granted strictly on the basis of merit in ‘SET’ and subject to the availability of seats in the subject/combinations.

4.   For opting Maths (Science, Commerce, Arts) a candidate must have scored above 50% marks or equivalent grade in Maths in Class X.


  • FEES WILL BE SUBMITTED SAME DAY ON LINE AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION, IN SCHOOL PREMISES. At the time of payment “Rupay Card” will not be accepted.

  • जब भी आप सेंट्रल हिन्दू स्कूल (सीएचएस गर्ल्स)  में काउंसलिंग के लिए आये कम से कम अपने साथ 7000 रुपया अवश्य लायें।
  • You Will Be Charged Less than 6000 Or 5000 Depends On Class & Services Included In Your Fee Receipt
  • आपसे 6000 या 5000 से कम रुपया वार्षिक शुल्क (फी)  लिया जायेगा जो की आपकी फी रसीद में क्लास और सर्विसेज पर निर्भर करता है

सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण सूचना => वाराणसी से बाहर के विद्यार्थियों एवं अभिभावकों के लिए 

सेंट्रल हिन्दू स्कूल की फीस ,रहने का खर्च हॉस्टल या रूम लेकर, पॉकेट मनी, प्रोजेक्ट वर्क इत्यादि 

सबसे पहली और महत्वपूर्ण बात ये की सेंट्रल हिन्दू स्कूल, नवोदय विद्यालय की तरह मुफ्त छात्रावास नहीं देता यहाँ पर आपको वर्ष के 50200 रूपये सरकारी छात्रावास शुल्क देना होता है स्कूल फीस के अतिरिक्त ! 

सेंट्रल हिन्दू गर्ल्स स्कूल में सरकारी छात्रावास की सुविधा उपलब्ध नहीं है
  • सेंट्रल हिन्दू स्कूल में एडमिशन लेने के बाद आप अपने बच्चे या बच्ची के रहने की व्यवस्था सरकारी हॉस्टल , प्राइवेट हॉस्टल में या  रूम लेकर कर सकते है ! 
  • हॉस्टल का औसत शुल्क 4200 से लेकर 4500 रुपया महीना होगा ( सरकारी या प्राइवेट ), यानि की आपको वर्ष का 51000 रुपया बच्चे के रहने खाने पर खर्च करना होगा !
  • हॉस्टल एवं स्कूल फीस के अतिरिक्त बच्चे की पॉकेट मनी, स्कूल ड्रेस , प्रोजेक्ट वर्क इत्यादि पर भी कम से कम 8000 से 10000 रूपये वार्षिक खर्च आएगा!
  • सेंट्रल हिन्दू स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों का B.H.U में मुफ्त इलाज होता है, केवल दवा का शुल्क आपको देना होता है ( किसी बाहरी दवा की दुकान पर )
  • कम से कम 2 या 3 लोगों के लिए रूम किराये पर 1500 से 1800 ( प्रत्येक छात्र ) रुपये प्रति महीना तक मिलेंगे, सिंगल रूम कमच्छा या अगल बगल 3500 से लेकर 6000 तक मिलेंगे, बिजली के बिल के अतिरिक्त यानि 1800*11= 19800 ( रुपया वार्षिक ) - केवल रहने का 

  • ये मानकर चलिए कि आपको 60000 से 65000 वार्षिक अपने बच्चे या बच्ची पर खर्च करना होगा, आप इस विद्यालय में अपने बच्चे का तभी एडमिशन कराएं जब आपकी सामर्थ्य हो (  केवल वाराणसी से बाहर के चयनित छात्रों के लिए )

  • सेंट्रल हिन्दू स्कूल एक सरकारी विद्यालय है, क्लास चलने के अलावा यहाँ की प्रमुखता छात्रों के स्वाध्याय में है जो इस विद्यालय को बाकि विद्यालयों से अलग करती है. इसलिए प्राइवेट विद्यालय से आये नए छात्रों को यहाँ एडजस्ट करने में थोड़ा वक्त लग सकता है
